The Problem
American Flow Control had a problemof training customers in the field how to maintain and fix their cities fire hydrants, valves and sleeves. A large 3 ring binder with all AFC products were avaible to all of their customers maintance departments. Printing costs and technology updates we a huge problem in keeping customers updated on current solutions.
Technology
InHouse Media produced a multi media product using Authorware to provide clients a robust data base that included every products AFC offered along with soultions and blueprints. Brian Netten was brought in as lead interactive designer and information architecture specialist.
Results
The program was initially put into place in 1999 and has been an intrinsic part in client relations and city safety.
