Winter Promotion
City Center in downtown Minneapolis along with Cities97 Radio, teamed up to offer live music in the skyway to help break up the long minnesota winters.
The Process of Design
The winters are long! So the theme needed to have and outdoor summer feel. A light airy color palette was used to create a faded cityscape. Photographs of musicans were taken for illustration style reference used in the final direction.
Technology
Adobe Illustrator was used to create the poster. The large format printed by Spectra Images was applied in sections with not seam was detectable.
Results
The original artwork created from the project was a great asset to cities97 marketing for the rest of the year.
